Japan in crisis

After working with Vietnam war veteran Ted Englemann in the workshop all day, seeing pictures of Japanese cities on fire really hit my psyche. Errol Morris’s documentary The Fog of War shows so much footage of the American forces fire bombings Japanese cities—assaults that were completely out of proportion with the objectives of the mission. Seeing the images of Japanese cities on fire feels like a flashback to me today.
