Lipman at Milwaukee Art Museum

Lena Vigna, curator at Racine Art Museum, just sent me the image of a work by artist Beth Lipman. Like all really good still lifes Lipman’s work appeals to the viewer’s appreciation of craft and also to his or her other appetites. Her work makes me feel like the guest at a really wonderful dinner party.

Now that I think of it, I first saw this artist’s work at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
