West African Art from the Mathis Collection opens at UW-Parkside January 28th. Very big party 7-8:30 pm

The grand opening of the new Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for Arts and Humanities takes place Saturday January 28th at UW-Parkside. There will be theater events and musical presentations and art demonstrations. There will be food and drinks and music. This will be fun.

In the main gallery–the Fine Arts Gallery–a beautiful exhibition” West African Art from the Mathis Collection” opens alongside “Contemporary Journeys: Liberian Artist, Catherine Kennedy” in the UW-Foundation Gallery, which is already on view.

Gallery Hours (metered parking during the day, free parking after 6:00pm)

Friday, Saturday, 12-4:00pm

Tuesday, Wednesday, 12-6:00 pm
